FENCE POST STUDIO

on Wed Apr 19 2017, 20:50
By means of a gentle homage to the creator of this forum, and as no one has posted in this section of the forum for a couple of days, I thought I would gate crash the what are you wearing section and start a new picture related thread.

It's adventurous, and I've definitely not seen it before so it's exclusive to 28000bpm. This thread is purely for posting pictures of your watches. Any watch you want, whenever you want. But it has to be on a fence.

To kick things off, I've gone for my new Seiko mod, mainly because that's what's I was wearing when I had the idea. OK, the more eagle eyed will spot, this is a trellis though seeing as I started the thread, it is permissible along with, gates, styles and walls.

Bruce - over to you.......

What a brilliant Idea and as you say it is exclusive to the forum .

too late for me to take a photo right now as it is a bit dark but I will partake tomorrow and add one or two .

It was getting dark when I did it so the photo is a bit rubbish though I'm looking forward to showcasing a new fence and watch shortly. I think you should find a fence or gate which matches your wooden watch, it would be the ultimate in accessorising:D Can't wait to see some of Bruce's back catalogue, it's going to take some catching up.

That is a good idea although the fence/post would need to be a different coloured wood or you would not see the watch lol!

my mesh bracelet arrived for my Sharkie this morning, it was supposed to be coming from London...feels like i waited a decade
anyway it fits great and fills the lugs nicely, its a little different from the normal mesh straps as its the thick mesh but its been flattened and polished.......looks good IMO

I had intended for quite a while to say a huge thanks to John for donating a watch for the competition which I won. It's a cracking little Sekonda chrono on a lovely yellow stitched racing strap to match the dial. I couldn't resist taking it to work today to go fence/gate/wall hunting. These are the results, and thanks kindly to John, the Sekonda is much appreciated and getting plenty of wrist time.
